Ribbon Cutting Request Form

The Rocky Point–Sound Beach Chamber of Commerce, also known as the “Welcoming Arm” of our business community, proudly offers complimentary ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremonies for Chamber members.

Our Welcome Team is made up of members of the Executive Board and selected committee volunteers from the local business community. This team is available to help celebrate business milestones including grand openings, expansions, relocations, and new Chamber member introductions.

A Chamber ribbon cutting includes:


    • A group of Chamber Ambassadors attending your event
    • The official ribbon and ceremonial large scissors
    • On-site photographs taken during the ceremony
    • Possible presentation of certificates or proclamations from local officials

There is no cost for a Chamber ribbon cutting. This service is a value-added benefit of Chamber membership.

Ambassadors typically plan to spend approximately 15–30 minutes at your event. Businesses are encouraged to have takeaway materials available for attendees.

Your ribbon cutting is your event. There are no set rules on format, programming, or additional activities. The Chamber is there to celebrate and support your milestone.

All ribbon cuttings are scheduled pending date and time availability.
