The Rocky Point–Sound Beach Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the Downtown Sound Beach Spring Festival & Street Fair, a lively community celebration where local creativity meets small-town spirit. This walkable, family-friendly event welcomes artisans, makers, small businesses, nonprofits, and interactive vendors to the heart of Sound Beach for a day filled with music, hands-on activities, and neighborhood connection. From unique handcrafted goods to kid-friendly attractions and local flavors, this event is designed to showcase the best of our community and invite guests to shop small, play local, and welcome spring together π·βοΈ.
IF YOU ARE A PROMOTIONAL OR SERVICE-BASED VENDOR:
Please submit interest to rpsbchamber@gmail.com prior to applying to ensure your category receives pre-approval.
• Applications are first-come, first-served and reviewed on a rolling basis
• Expect a review time of up to 14 business days after submission
• A $30 non-refundable administrative application fee is included with all vendor applications. This fee covers the time and processing required to review applications and to issue refunds only if a vendor is not accepted due to category limits or event curation factors.
If you are not accepted, your table fee will be refunded minus the $30 administrative application fee.
If you would like to guarantee acceptance before submitting payment, you may request 24-hour pre-approval via email. Once pre-approved, you may apply without concern for category limitations, and no refund or administrative deduction would apply.
TO RECAP: The $30 is not an additional cost on top of the table fee. It is simply the portion applied toward administrative and processing time if we must issue a refund because a vendor was not accepted. Pre-approval prevents this entirely.

All vendors must offer products, services, or experiences appropriate for a family-friendly, community street fair atmosphere. We welcome:
• Handmade & artisan goods
• Boutique retail & specialty items
• Interactive experiences
• Prepackaged food vendors (with proper permit)
• Food trucks/tent set-ups (with DOH temp/annual permit)
• Local nonprofits & community organizations
• Approved promotional businesses
Vendors are encouraged to bring personality and engagement through attractive booth displays, demonstrations, interactive elements, or spring-themed offerings that enhance the guest experience.
Food & Sampling Requirements:
Vendors offering samples must have items sealed as “to-go” or hold appropriate DOH permits. All vendors must supply required permits and licensing after application approval (e.g., 20C, Home Processor, DOH, etc).
Your vendor fee directly supports event production and marketing, which includes:
β Regional promotion (web, social media, local outreach)
β Event staffing & security
β Municipal permitting & coordination
β On-site logistics & vendor support
β Printed event materials & signage
π¨ All vendor fees are non-refundable. The event will take place rain or shine.
FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine. In the case of severe inclement weather that poses a safety risk to vendors, staff, or attendees, a designated Severe Weather Date will be implemented.
If the event must be canceled due to severe weather conditions or other acts of God, and the Severe Weather Date is also unable to proceed, no refunds will be issued. Vendors assume all risk associated with weather-related cancellations, and all fees will be retained to cover event planning, permitting, staffing, marketing, and operational costs already incurred.
• Vendors must remain set up for the full event duration (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
• Load-in details, assigned time slots, and parking instructions will be sent 3–5 days prior
• Vendors will receive a specific load-in window
• Late arrivals may need to wait until all other vendors have completed load-in
